Happy training my fellow trainers from all over the world,
I have been a trainer since 1984 on a part time basis (I just love training!). I was then a corporate manager in a well-known property development (public) company in Malaysia. Fifteen years ago I turned professional - a freelance full-time trainer. I am 66 years old now and feel that I should use the little time left to help younger fellow trainers develop their competencies. I am based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is still actively conducting training throughout the country. Training is a universal function and the methodology is universal too. Therefore, I hope to reach out to everybody on this earth who are training other human beings.
OBJECTIVES OF MY BLOG
After following my blog for one year, readers (trainers) should be able to do the following:-
1. Design their own training programs using my model;
2. Prepare lesson plans that ensure active involvement of program participants;
3. Create their own training tools, instruments, and other paraphernalia for delivery;
4. Do presentations of their proposed training programs to clients effectively; and
5. Manage the training function efficiently.
MODUS OPERANDI
* I will post one article on one aspect of training every week (forgive me if I miss one or two - life of a trainer is hectic).
* You the reader give me your feedback (or ask me a question). I will respond when I get to read your feedback. You don't have to an active trainer to follow my blog.
* I will report my training activities (programs) the moment it is over (so that my most recent training experiences are shared with you). Such insights may help you improve your own training skills.
* Refer you to books articles and sundries that may help you improve your competencies further without my guidance.
* Do give me your contact addresses (website, blog, email address, etc) if you wish to benefit from my many other additional techniques and tools for training.
RESOURCES
I welcome other trainers to help me run this blog of mine. Your input is welcome on any topics of interest to trainers across the globe. Let's share and share alike and make this world a better place for everyone.
